Malice

In the Tokyo of the 1990s, a famous author is murdered and his body found behind a locked door. The death is reported by the wife of the deceased, together with one of his closer friends, who had discovered the body. The friend, a lesser writer, has written down the events of the evening concerned as an aide memoire and shares these thoughts with the chief detective, who turns out to be a one-time colleague.
