Fighting Climate Change: Integrated Water Resource Management

Integrated water resource management (IWRM) is an advanced system of water  management that includes all water  resources within a geographical territory and aims to provide a  sustainable model for the future. Most countries in the world still maintain a  fairly primitive water management system that is based principally on the issue  of water allocation: that is, governments aim to provide some form of balance  between demand and supply for and of water.
